Our The Walking Dead expert Sebastian has mixed feelings about the final episodes of the zombie series. On the one hand, as a big fan, he is of course excited to see how the impending internal conflict in the Commonwealth will finally escalate and how the TV hit will end after twelve years.
On the other hand, he is skeptical that eight episodes will be enough to bring all the storylines that have been started to a satisfactory conclusion. Not to mention that it doesn’t help the suspense that we don’t have to worry about main characters like Daryl ( Norman Reedus ) and Maggie ( Lauren Cohan ) since they’ll be getting their own spin-offs after the series ends.

What the eleventh season of «The Walking Dead» urgently needs in Sebastian’s eyes is the return of the former series figurehead Rick Grimes ( Andrew Lincoln ), which is once again hinted at in the first teaser for season 11C. In his preview video above, Sebastian explains why that is and how even the long-awaited comeback could turn into a disappointment.
«The Walking Dead» season 11C is expected to start in Germany in autumn 2022 on Disney + and ProSieben Fun. Like the first two parts of the final season, the last part also includes eight episodes.
