According to the distributor, “Jurassic World 3: A New Era” was able to attract exactly 100,598 visitors to the cinemas in Germany on June 8, 2022. For comparison: For «Jurassic World 2: The Fallen Kingdom» 72,000 tickets were purchased on the opening day, and around 575,000 Dino fans went to the cinema over the entire opening weekend.
But both films see no country opposite «Jurassic World»: 145,000 tickets were bought on the opening day for the start of the new Dino trilogy, while the film recorded more than 900,000 paying guests over the entire opening weekend.
Good start at the German box office?
This means that for «Jurassic World 3: A New Age» despite the Corona aftermath, significantly more tickets could be sold here in Germany than for the direct predecessor , which also gives hope for a successful opening weekend that levels off somewhere between its two predecessors should — if the bad reviews (34 percent positive reviews on Rotten Tomatoes) don’t stop some dinosaur fans from drawing a card for the finale of the Jurassic Word series.

Plunge in forecasts in the US: what is the reason?
Just a few days ago, the forecast for the opening weekend was $205 million. But the negative reviews and the initial reactions on social media, which were very mixed, have pushed the forecasts far down.
