There is a success, as the streaming provider has now to report, of course like balm for the soul: The fourth season » Stranger Things » has had the most successful opening weekend of a Netflix series of all time!
The streaming giant, which has been regularly publishing leaderboards for several months, in which the currently most popular films and series are not only ranked but also reveal the hours watched, has a new all-time record holder:
The new «Stranger Things» season was watched over 286 million hours in its first weekend, beating all previous hits from around the world — from » Squid Game » to » Heist of Money » — onto the ranks. The previous record holder was the second season of “ Bridgerton ” with 193 million hours , i.e. almost 100 million (!) hours less.
