… and yet one thing is obvious: the action film shot in IMAX is thoroughly worthwhile — especially in the cinema . So if you are willing to wait a few months to save yourself a cinema ticket and catch up on the film in your own four walls, especially in view of the increasingly shrinking time window between the start of cinema and home cinema, you would do well to get one in the case of «Top Gun: Maverick». Make an exception and visit the best cinema in his area, the one with the biggest screen and the fattest sound system. The cult comeback is nothing less than one of the biggest cinema experiences of the year.

«Top Gun 2»: Made for the big screen
It’s been more than two years since I met cult producer Jerry Bruckheimer for an interview on «Bad Boys For Life» and spoke to him briefly about the return of flying ace Maverick.
It’s hardly surprising that the Hollywood veteran was already praising «Top Gun 2» in the highest tones and promising action scenes like you’ve never seen before. After all, films have to be sold in order not only to recoup their enormous production costs, as in this case, but also to make a profit.
But Bruckheimer should keep his word: just looking at the trailer took my breath away, but with the film itself, director Joseph Kosinski ( «Tron: Legacy», «Oblivion», «No Way Out») not just shifts up a gear, but accelerates the thing straight to Mach 10.
