Splendid movie
gAt the Fantasy Filmfest 2017, » Rendel » by Jesse Haaja celebrated its German premiere, shortly afterwards it was also released on Blu-ray and DVD. That caused a lot of attention at the time — certainly less because, according to those responsible, «Rendel» is the very first superhero film ever from his home country Finland, but because there was only an FSK 18 rating in Germany — and that’s not common with superhero films.
TELE 5 is now showing «Rendel» five years later in the night from today’s Saturday (April 23, 2022) to Sunday (April 24, 2022) at 0.05 a.m. for the first time on free TV in Germany. In addition, the brutal superhero action movie will also be available free of charge in the broadcaster’s media library for a few days (up to and including May 1) after it has been broadcast .
So if you haven’t seen the film yet, you now have the chance — but be careful: we can’t recommend it!
