On June 26, 2022, Netflix will release all episodes of the ninth season of The Blacklist in one go . Fans of the acclaimed thriller series with James Spader will then get 22 (!) new episodes straight away. As in the past, Netflix is releasing the series season one month after the end of the broadcast of the current episodes in the USA. The season finale will be shown there on May 27, 2022.

The ninth season of The Blacklist picks up two years after the tragic events at the end of season eight. The task force no longer exists, its former members are scattered to the four winds. But when Dembe ( Hisham Tawfiq ), who is now working as an FBI agent, is critically injured during an operation, Harold Cooper ( Harry Lennix ) asks his former team for help. But can they help at all? Alina Park ( Laura Sohn ) still works for the FBI, but is only active in training and has promised her husband not to do any more dangerous operations. Aram Mojtabai ( Amir Arison) has meanwhile left the authority and is about to make a deal with his own company that will make him rich. And Donald Ressler ( Diego Klattenhoff ) has been completely lost since the death of his great love…
