It wasn’t an easy task that Hayden Christensen set himself in the early 2000s: as Anakin Skywalker in «Star Wars» episodes 2 and 3, he had to make the transition from young Jedi Padawan to feared Sith Darth Vader, probably the most famous villain in film history , represent. His performance (as well as the prequels in general) received a lot of criticism at the time. But over time, public perception changed. Hayden Christensen will also be making a comeback as Darth Vader in the new Star Wars series Obi-Wan Kenobi , starting May 27 on Disney Plus .

Of all those in the original trilogy about Jake Lloyd . ed.: the child actor of Anakin] in the prequels. I always felt this responsibility to be fair to all of these people who helped make this character so iconic. And I’m really looking forward to what we’re going to see on the show. I think that will appeal to people…
