Disney and its affiliates
With the inquisitor Reva ( Moses Ingram ), the series “ Obi-Wan Kenobi ” has established a new “Star Wars” villain who hunts Jedi and especially the title hero on behalf of Darth Vader. While she isn’t nearly as powerful as her iconic superior, she makes up for it with her tenacity, almost obsession, with which she searches for Obi-Wan. And so she is the main antagonist of «Obi-Wan Kenobi» alongside Vader, who is limited to a few short appearances. A new rumor has it that Reva is set to get her own spin-off series on Disney+ — and there could be some truth to that.

Where did the Reva rumor come from?
Of course, we wouldn’t just pick up on every random rumor that’s circulating somewhere on the internet (then we wouldn’t be able to stop writing). In this case, after careful consideration, we decided to write about it. There are two main reasons for this.
First, the rumor comes from ScreenGeek , a site that also previously correctly predicted that Anson Mount would appear as Black Bolt in Doctor Strange 2 — a cameo that few would have expected at first. While there’s a chance it was just a stroke of luck back then, let’s sit up and take notice if ScreenGeekpublished an alleged exclusive message.
The article in question states: «Our sources have told us that a Reva spin-off series starring Moses Ingram is in the works for Disney Plus. » to play before or after Obi-Wan Kenobi.
The rumor fits another report
The second reason we think there might be some truth to the rumor is an article by Jason Ward. The «Star Wars» expert is one of the most well-known names when it comes to coverage of the star saga — and he has excellent connections. On the Making Star Wars website , for example, he leaked a complete plot summary of the «Obi-Wan» series in mid-May (about a week and a half before the start of the series), which has so far turned out to be correct.
The same Jason Ward has previously reported that Obi-Wan Kenobi is getting a second season and that his sources expect both Reva and Roken to appear in future stories. Incidentally, Roken is the underground rebel introduced in episode 4 and played by O’Shea Jackson («Straight Outta Compton», son of rapper Ice Cube). The rumor that Reva is getting its own series aligns fairly well with the information in that report.
Has the ending of «Obi-Wan Kenobi» been changed for the Reva series?
Warning, now we come to a possible spoiler! Because even if ScreenGeek writes not to be sure whether the Reva spin-off will play before or after «Obi-Wan Kenobi», the information from Making Star Wars points to the latter. Of course, that would also mean that Reva survives the events of the current Disney+ series.
Did Reva lie to Darth Vader? Explained the ending of «Obi-Wan Kenobi» Episode 4
Jason Ward was even informed by his source that Reva’s fortunes in «Obi-Wan Kenobi» were subsequently changed. Namely, in the original version, also described in the plot synopsis mentioned above, she was killed by Darth Vader. This scene has now been deleted or changed. Another indication that Disney and Lucasfilm still have a lot planned for Reva — otherwise they would hardly take such drastic measures.
Nevertheless: It is and remains a rumor
Of course, none of the information presented here is from official sources. So it remains to be seen whether there will actually be a final confirmation from Disney (or not). But first of all, we want to believe the statements made by Jason Ward, who has shown often enough in the past that he is a serious source for «Star Wars» information.
We therefore think it is very likely that Reva will return. Whether that will happen in season 2 of «Kenobi», a separate spin-off series or a completely different project, we don’t want to commit to that yet.
