If you’re not sure what to watch on Netflix this weekend , we have three suggestions that have one thing in common: they’re not available on the streaming service much longer. A good argument, then, to push these films up your watch list if they interest you!
«47 Meters Down: Uncaged»
It starts with the shark horror “ 47 Meters Down: Uncaged ” – this is available on Netflix up to and including June 9th. This is the quasi-successor to the surprise hit «47 Meters Down» (which, by the way, is still available on Netflix until June 30!), but you don’t necessarily have to have seen the predecessor. Because both films were made by the same crew behind the camera, but they don’t have much in common in terms of content.
In «47 Meters Down: Uncaged», Mia ( Sophie Nélisse ) and her friends go on a diving trip to a sunken city in ruins. While the young women enthusiastically swim through the weather-beaten underwater labyrinth, deadly danger is approaching: bloodthirsty sharks have become aware of the divers and are relentlessly hunting them down. But that’s not the gang’s only problem: the cave entrance to the sunken city has collapsed and the oxygen supplies are slowly running out…
We awarded 2.5 stars out of a possible 5 for the shark horror, which is primarily convincing in its atmospheric middle part .
