Yes, they still exist: The old hands of Hollywood, who still know how to inspire their audiences more than half a century after their debut, stand alongside modern mega-franchises like «Fast & Furious» or the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) claim and even today it is simply impossible to imagine pop culture without them. James Bond is definitely such a phenomenon — the cult agent with a license to kill proved that quite impressively last year with his 25th official mission » No Time to Die «.
It’s been 60 years since Sean Connery in James Bond Chases Dr. No” went on a hunt for world domination-obsessed villains for the first time. 60 years in which an impressive 25 films were made, which made one thing all too clear: the cinema audience just can’t get enough of James Bond! And so his most recent mission brought in more than superhero films like «Eternals», «Shang-Chi And The Legend Of The Ten Rings» and «Venom 2», referred to other eagerly awaited blockbusters like «Fast & Furious 9» and «Godzilla Vs. Kong» on the courts — and within a few weeks also conquered the home cinema charts of the previous year !
Now, less than nine months later, you don’t even have to shell out to see Daniel Craig’s farewell performance as 007 over and over again. Because «No time to die» is now available as a subscription to Sky and Sky Ticket at no additional cost!

The longest Bond film of all time: stylish, spectacular, but without great emotions
Directing the latest chapter of such a prestigious film series is likely to put almost any filmmaker under pressure from the outset. At the same time, director Cary Fukunaga also had the mission of bringing together the loose ends of several previous films for the first time in the series. A Herculean task, which he did justice to with splendid pictures and spectacular action. Unfortunately , the big emotions that Daniel Craig’s farewell brings with him on paper did not materialize. At least that’s what our editor and reviewer Björn Becher thinks, who was able to gain a lot from «No time to die», but in the end «only» got 3 out of 5 possible stars.
