That’s what «Red Alert» is about
The USS Missouri belongs to the old iron. That is why the warship is to be finally retired after a very last voyage. Soon after casting off, the ship’s cook Casey Ryback ( Steven Seagal ) once again clashes with First Officer Krill ( Gary Busey ), who has absolutely nothing for Ryback and his attitude and unceremoniously locks him in the refrigerator. Meanwhile, a surprise birthday party is organized for the captain.
A band and a stripper ( Erika Eleniak ) are brought on board by helicopter. The party is in full swing, but then something happens that nobody does justice to: the musicians, led by the mad William Stranix ( Tommy Lee Jones ), turn out to be heavily armed terrorists who either murder the crew members in cold blood or murder them in the stomach lock up the ship.
