While it took Johnnie To’s critically acclaimed gangster thriller «Drug War» a year and a half to find its way from Chinese cinemas to Germany, it took more than twice as long for its Korean remake. But good things come to those who wait: » Believer » will finally be released in Germany on June 24, 2022!
As early as mid-2018, Hae-Yeong Lee («The Silenced») lured more than five million Koreans to the cinemas with his new film and smashed all expectations with a total gross of over 39.2 million dollars. And with the local home cinema launch next month, one or two euros should still be added: Busch Media Group is not only releasing the film as a commercially available standard edition on DVD and Blu-ray, but also as a limited 3-disc edition (optionally as Blu-ray or 4K Blu-ray) with a very special extra: the Extended Cut of the film, which is eight minutes longer than the theatrical version!
