A blind person defends himself against a gang of three burglars — this is not only familiar to genre fans: The film » Don’t Breathe » was a big surprise hit and even popular enough to get a sequel. While that was rather disappointing, » See For Me » was one of the biggest surprises for me at the Fantasy Filmfest 2021 and could now comfort some other film fans about » Don’t Breathe 2 «.
Although the film initially seems like a «Don’t Breathe» free rider in its plot brief, it turns out to be exciting entertainment with some surprises and unpredictable characters. And that’s exactly what you can now experience in the home cinema:

«See For Me»: A burglary, many consequences
Sophie Scott ( Skyler Davenport ) is a promising skier — but when she suddenly goes blind, she gives up her career dreams. And that despite receiving offers to coach them for the Winter Paralympics. Instead, she works as a cat and house sitter. Her latest assignment takes Sophie to a secluded luxury mansion in snowy upstate New York. She finds her way around the sprawling property solely thanks to Kelly (Jessica Parker Kennedy), an employee of the See For Me video call service. But their willingness to help is put to the test when three unscrupulous burglars break into the villa…
