Although Peter Dinklage ‘s career, which began in the 1990s, made a huge leap forward thanks to » Game Of Thrones «, he was denied a career dream for a long time: He longed to play the leading role in a serious, dramatic love story. This wish came true for the actor in 2018 on stage — in a musical reinterpretation of the world-famous play » Cyrano de Bergerac » written by his partner Erica Schmidt .
This stage musical was then adapted as a feature film by Joe Wright , who, thanks to “ Pride and Prejudice ”, “ Atonement ” and “ Anna Karenina ”, has long been considered an expert on romantic material with Gravitas – with Dinklage. «Cyrano»: To melt away
France in the 17th century, which is drawing to a close: Officer Cyrano de Bergerac (Dinklage) causes a stir in his home country as an eloquent mastermind.
