Author Björn Helbig once gave just 2.5 out of a possible 5 stars in the official FILMSTARTS review for «Children Of Men» , who was «overall disappointed» with Alfonso Cuarón’s sci-fi dystopia. The fact that the film made it into our top 10 of the most controversial FILMSTARTS reviews a few years ago with this average rating (which shouldn’t really upset fans of the film or anyone else) is saying something. For many, «Children Of Men» is nothing less than one of the best science fiction films of all time — including the author of this article, who therefore does not want to miss the opportunity to point to the brand new home cinema remake of the film to point out.
» Children Of Men » will be released on June 9, 2022 for the first time in several limited collector’s editions including DVD and Blu-ray. While the film has already been released abroad in various limited editions (e.g. as a steel book), the exceptional film is finally getting the special treatment it deserves in Germany — in the form of several media book variants:

If you want to give this special film an equally special place on the shelf, you are spoiled for choice. In any case, the different cover variants cater to different tastes. The only downside: Unfortunately, we still have to wait for a 4K premiere of the film worldwide.
