A «Lethal Weapon» marathon represents a short journey through time through US action cinema. Part one received an FSK approval from the age of 18 — which it still has, although this assessment no longer corresponds to today’s standards! Nevertheless, it is the most «adult», because the most dramatic part. The sequels always mix wilder action and louder jokes into the formula for success — and after two FSK 16 films, part 4 also increases the level of violence so that it has an FSK 18 again.
