This is the story of «Belle»
» Belle » is the story of 17-year-old high school student Suzu (German voiceover: Lara Loft ) who lives with her father ( Marcus Off ) in a small mountain village. The teenager still hasn’t gotten over the death of her mother a few years ago, which is why she is extremely shy and reserved when interacting with other people.
But with the help of her only real friend Hiro ( Lea Kalbhenn ), Suzu joins «U», a gigantic virtual world with five billion members. Here she chooses the avatar Belle, a beautiful, confident singer who’s become a global superstar almost overnight. However, their first major concert appearance is disrupted by the menacing Beast ( Patrick Baehr ).
The otherwise timid girl is fascinated by the mysterious cyber creature. In search of an answer to the question of which real person could be hiding behind it, she starts talking to him. This is the starting signal for a journey full of adventure and love, in which the unlikely duo becomes closer, above all through the common search for their true self…
