The story of Constantine: The House Of Mystery picks up where the popular 2020 feature film Justice League Dark: Apokolips War left off: exorcist and occult detective John Constantine (voice: Matt Ryan ) rewrote the passage of time and achieved that the war that wiped out all life far and wide never happened.
As a consequence of his mission, however, our man finds himself in a bewitched house from which there seems to be no escape. While looking for a way out, he quickly meets his Justice League friends Zatanna ( Camilla Luddington ) and Jason Blood/Etrigan ( Ray Chase ) as well as other old acquaintances. However, he seems to be caught in a Mobius strip: every time he thinks he’s getting close to the solution, the action ends with his bloody death and everything starts again…
Constantine: The House Of Mystery is a short story that comes with three other anthology-style short stories featuring other heroes from the DC Comics universe: Kamandi: The Last Boy On Earth!, The Losers» and «Blue Beetle».
Also included is a featurette with a making-of segment and interviews called «DC Showcase: One Story At A Time». Here the history of the “DC Showcases” is rolled out and explained. This concept, in the context of which new, animated short stories are told, dates back to 2010 and is now being picked up again with this title.

In the original sound, the title hero of the main story «Constantine: The House Of Mystery» is again voiced by Matt Ryan. Ryan has been the voice of the supernatural detective for several years and various films. He had also played him in an unfortunately short-lived solo live-action TV series, as well as numerous episodes of the Legends Of Tomorrow series.
The story, directed by Matt Peters (Justice League Dark: Apokolips War), also stars Camilla Luddington (Grey’s Anatomy) and Ray Chase (Licorice Pizza). Robin Atkin Downes («The Strain»), Damian O’Hare («Pirates of the Caribbean») and Lou Diamond Phillips («La Bamba,» «Young Guns») also speak.
The remaining three films also star Cameron Monaghan («Gotham», «Shameless»), Ming-Na Wen («The Book of Boba Fett») and Matt Lanter («Timeless»).
