The seventh part of the Eberhofer crime series was one of the ten most successful films in German cinemas in 2021. And with “ Guglhupfgeschwader ” too, all signs point to success. From August 4th, 2022 you can see Sebastian Bezzel again as the village policeman Franz Eberhofer in the cinemas.
He stumbles into a new case when organized crime and the gambling mafia spread in tranquil Niederkaltenkirschen while the whole town is in the lottery fever. But when the criminals shoot up Grandma’s Guglhupfe ( Enzi Fuchs ), the fun stops for Franz. But there is a problem with his investigations with his friend Rudi ( Simon Schwarz ).
He has a new girlfriend in Theresa ( Stefanie Reinsperger ) and she explodes the dream team with her enthusiasm for discussions.
